RETURNS POLICY

RETURNS

If you aren't thrilled with your purchase, return it and as long as it's IN SELLABLE CONDITION (unused, original packaging, sales docket) and as long as you aren't dead, we will refund you. If you are dead, your heirs can still return the goods but they should probably keep them in your honour.

If you received the product(s) as a gift, we'll provide you with a Gift Card that you can use at our shop.

We encourage you to walk on your carpet in your boots before taking them on the track. Try your pack on with weight before you head to the mountains. We are fully available to answer all your questions and advise you.

Load bearing climbing equipment like a harness, ropes or karabiner, and all Gift Cards, are final sale and cannot be returned. So, if you don't like your climbing stuff, just hang it on your wall to impress your friends and if you don't want your Gift Card, use it as a ruler.

We put a time limit of 30 days on returns.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns.

IF YOU RETURN THE PRODUCT(S) IN UNSELLABLE CONDITION we will ship the product back to you and will NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH A REFUND.

You can either bring your product(s) and your sales receipt to our shop or you can mail the product(s) back to us. If you received the product(s) as a gift, we'll provide you with a Gift Card. We will credit you within 5 business days of receiving your package and email you a receipt confirming the credit.

Please follow these procedures to ensure a prompt replacement, credit or refund.

In the case of a fault or defect with your purchase, please follow the Warranty process below.

  1. Please include a note stating the purchaser's name, address, email address and date of purchase. A copy of the receipt would be great too.
  2. Call (03)443 2888 for a return authorization number (RA). The R.A number is to be filled on the return form and written on the package with a return address.
  3. Using a good carton, return package via insured courier post mail or other parcel carrier of your choice. Product must be unused with all original packaging and tags on.
  4. Send to:

    Be sure to send it pre-paid; no CODs allowed. Be sure to get tracking information for your package since you are responsible until we receive the goods.
  5. Keep a record of your shipment until you have received a credit, refund or replacement.

To Exchange Product(s)

Simply place a new order at mainlytramping.com for the new product(s) and mail the original product(s) back to us and we'll credit your card. We will credit you the SAME DAY we receive your package and email you a receipt confirming the credit!

Be sure to send it pre-paid; no CODs allowed. Be sure to get tracking information for your package since you are responsible until we receive the goods.

We highly, highly, highly recommend that you place a new order at mainlytramping.com when doing an exchange but if you hate that idea, you can fill out the exchange form that was included with your package and we will process the exchange once we receive your original product(s).

Gifts With Purchase

Anytime you return an order that comes with a free gift, you must also return the free gift. I think that's Cervantes. If we don’t receive it back, we will have to charge you the retail value of the gift.

WARRANTIES

All our products come with a manufacturer's warranty. The warranty commences the day of purchase. Generally, warranties cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. The time period of this warranty is usually specified on the product information card. It is at the sole discretion of the manufacturer to repair or replace any defective merchandise.

Damage from abuse, neglect, accidents and racing is not covered under any warranty.

Labour and shipping are not covered under any Warranty.

Should you believe your product is faulty or defective, please email us. Please contact us before returning any item(s).

Please keep your receipts for warranty purposes. Warranties will not be honoured without proof of purchase. We reserve the right to replace or repair any item found to be defective at our own discretion.

Mainly Tramping shall not be responsible for the improper use of the merchandise sold and the customer is urged to exercise caution and take all necessary safety measures in using merchandise.

CONSUMER GUARANTEES ACT 1998

The Consumer Guarantees Act set out minimum standards for goods sold by Mainly Tramping. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or refund.
